Cuz SAS his 92 Yota (3.0 5spd - Now 35 Boggers) Got the All-Pro kit, all went well as far as the install (so far).
What is the preferred donor Dshaft? the pre 84 (shorter)or 84/85+ SA/IFS He measured distance wanna say 27" or 28" (flange to flange).. Is there a better donor? I know he could go square tube (which I would went for time being...)
Just wanting to check what others have done.... TIA

I didn't spare expenses in this dept. Got a d-shaft from Marlin. He took trade in of my pre86 junkyard d-shaft. I also used another front d-shaft from pre86 and have it extended for the rear. It's double carden and skinner. With more lift, the double carden is the way to go for the rear as well.

I happended to have a 84 shaft when I did mine, the CV has more angle to it. I took it to the D-Shaft shop along with the flange to flange measurment. The made me a new shaft with my CV and a long slip yoke and flange. There is a way to modify an IFS CV to get more angle out of it. I have one on my rear shaft and am getting about 40-degrees out of it. Here is the write-up on how to do it. http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/tech/cvmod/
