yea....i tested the battery volts and they where fine and tested them again under a load and the numbers were fine. started the truck and took the negative terminal off and it ran fine at idle. my shops got a OBDII scanner and the only reason i didnt use it was that i thought it wouldnt read a OBDI code. so ima gonna try that. now i read that some people who had this problem mentioned something about a ranger sensor goin bad. now the ranger sensors we have at the shop are right there by the shifter knob. so where is it located??? are there any other simple tests i can use until i pull the codes <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/mrt.gif" alt="" /> what grounds on the truck can check
its easier to look good than be good
