yes the oil filter on the 2.6 can be mighty close to the drag link if you are running it to a high steer arm. I did the old ream the pitman arm from the bottom thing to get it out of the way. but then the tre was too close to the drivers side ubolt nuts (one step forward, one step back). let us know what is in the way and what your setup is.
