Getting the Wheeling Fever

Russ put a battery in the new Montero, fired it up and a horrible noise started occurring. There was good oil pressure and the noise was louder when revved up. It went "bang, bang, bang"... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" />

He finally bought me a running Montero, but it still needs work. What are your thoughts?
