Welcome to the forum. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

I hope those Thornbirds you have are nearly worn out and you're about to replace them. No offense, but they are perhaps the worst off-road tires ever developed.

Thanks for the welcome.

I am fully aware of the thornbirds inefficiency. They beat the worn tires that came on the Rig and I got the set of five all for $100.00. I took the opportunity to buy five new Pro Comp Rocker series 15x10 with 3.75 bs to support them and installed the Yota shackles part #1084. I spent no more than 500.00 all together.
I plan to go with Pit Bulls next, ôbudget allowingö now that I have the rims to support them!

But The B52 sound the birds make is really cool. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" />

Shame they're not as effective at tearin the ground up, though. You gotta admit, Joe, they do look cool... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

I almost bought 'birds a while back for a Blazer I had, a friend had them on his yota and he thought they were great, until I drove circles arround him with my half bald dueler M/T's. They are a pretty tire though.

Welcome to the forum. Good job reading the FAQ already before it was suggested. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Most of us didn't do that. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
