Get an old/cheap pair of computer speakers, the kind that don't require a plugin, and plug them into the headphone jack on your mp3. You will just need a way to charge/power your player.

I've tried that already. It isn't really loud enough, and it sounds pretty bad too. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/baby.gif" alt="" />

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

You can splice this to the speaker leads, but you probably would want to make sure you don't have the OE radio turned on at the same time:

I also removed my radio head unit, now I have a nice square piece of diamond plate in it's place.

I've been using my Ipod going to an amp (headphone plug to RCA cable)and that powers my speakers. Volume control is on the ipod. I use a toggle switch on the remote on for the amp to turn it on/off.

It really doesn't get easier than that. No, I don't miss the radio.

Thing is, after about a year, I wore out the headphone jack in the ipod constantly unplugging it to bring it in when I got home. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I just installed a JVC KD-G140.

Now I can listen to my MP3 player. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

I think I might wire in a switch so I can leave my power antenna down unless I want the radio.
