The length looks to be old 6series BMW, might be those black looking bumpers that get kinda warped when they get older. I had a 82 Corolla with those type of black bumpers. It was back when there was a 5 mph bumper rule. Up to 5 mph the bumper had to absorb the shock with no damage to the car. Now days if you tap someone the front end falls off.

My 74 Beetle had these shock absorber like bumper mounts. If you hit anything it would compress then launch the object into the air. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
