14 mpg at continuous 65mph. I get 17 when I keep it at 45mph in 4th and 5th.
I have very heavy bumpers , roof rack, 31x10.5x15s, and the aerodynamics of a brick...

My last #'s on the 87 2.6 turbo non-lockup a/t were about 20 at 75ish cruise on the flats, and about 18avg with a bunch of kickin' it around town/freeway, on regular. Premium added about 2-3 first case and 1-2mpg second case to that because the knock box let it run more advance at cruise with the higher octane.
At the 75ish cruise, I was seeing about 200-300rpms of converter slop that a lockup would have prevented. It ran at about 1-2psi of boost at that speed and load.
Not responsible for advice not taken...

As of this afternoon, I've clocked an 'indicated' (144,000-84,500) miles and change on my 87 Raider. I say indicated because of the many tire sizes I've used adn that I haven't changed the speedo drive gear yet. . The best tank mileage I had oddly was in winter and with 33's...about 20.5 mpg 'indicated'.
My normal driving: 235's on stock alloys = 17 to 18.5 mpg 31's on 8" steel wheels = 11 to 19 mpg, range due to trailer towing in 4-lo and substantial highway with a single bag of dirt (250 mile trip for a bag of dirt!!) 32's on stock chrome steelies, driving up and down from Tahoe = 14 to 16 mpg 33's on alloys = 13 to 20.5 mpg
I carry many tools on a daily basis, use the truck almost strictly for work, and use 4-lo quite often.
There was quite a thread on this about a year ago.

14 City 17 Highway. Depends on which way the wind is blowing.
Worst ever was 10mph in a 35 knot head wind near Lancaster. Best ever was 23 with a 25 knot tail wind near Mojave

19 mpg tank after tank, doing the same drive: 70-80 mph from Northern Fairfield to Yonkers, NY on 684/287/Sprain Brook.
Tailwinds do seem to help, especially on the stock 2.6 5 speed I had from 87-99...it got 22 mpg max on hwy and 20 in mixed. gt
1987-2000: '87 black Raider stock 4-cyl/5-speed. 2000-2006: '89 black Raider stock 6-cyl/auto 2007-?: 89 black Raider, 6-cyl/auto w/(at last!), bouncy seat, power windows and cruise.
