[Re: off-roader] #899107 08/13/08 07:52 PM Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 104 Brooklyn gtrotta Wheeler 19 mpg tank after tank, doing the same drive: 70-80 mph from Northern Fairfield to Yonkers, NY on 684/287/Sprain Brook. Tailwinds do seem to help, especially on the stock 2.6 5 speed I had from 87-99...it got 22 mpg max on hwy and 20 in mixed. gt 1987-2000: '87 black Raider stock 4-cyl/5-speed. 2000-2006: '89 black Raider stock 6-cyl/auto 2007-?: 89 black Raider, 6-cyl/auto w/(at last!), bouncy seat, power windows and cruise.
