The Dodge Ram has been a very dependable truck (yeah, it's got a Hemi) since driving it off the lot five years ago. After 130,000 miles, little things were becoming apparent. The shocks were worn. The brakes were worn. There was a slight vibration in the steering. It was time for suspension upgrades.

I had always wanted to level the truck. Like most trucks, the rear is higher than the front so that it rides level when loaded. I wanted it level rather than the nose down look. But, options included a lift which would raise the truck four inches or more. That meant no more parking garages where vehicle height was limited.

Coil front suspension, right? Check into RevTek. They make a small plastic spacer that increases the length of the spring...my friends have a few Toyotas so modified, maybe they make something for you Dodge in a 2" unit.

The two kits that I see everyday: 1 is used fairly regulary offroad, 1 is a street pounder. FWIW, both have about 2 years service so far. Aluminum, not durable plastic...so says webiste:

Need a Spot
The spacers are made of lots of different materials, usually steel or polyurethane, and usually are 2.5 or 3" for fullsizes. You won't break one. It won't happen. I believe they are interchangeable between ALL the fullsizes. Even the one ton. I have a 3" in my dually. On stock backspaced wheels you will be able to clear 35's no problem. Mebbe a little rub on the control arms at full lock.
