Yes, you can retrofit ADD, but a lot more work. You need to change out the front axle parts with the ADD actuator. You would need to add the VSVs, vacuum cannister and all the electrical and vacuum connections to make the actuator work. Then you would need the transfer case set up for ADD with the internal switches and whatever else it has, so that would be a major conversion.

And then the drawback is you have the front CV axles constantly turning and wearing out the CV boots.
