Im planning on doing a spring-over lift on my wrangler, using factory springs.

i just had a few questions.

1st off, will I HAVE to do the high steer mod for the drag link to clear the spring, or will it be ok if I leave it below, or maybe use a drop pitman arm?

secondly, my plans are to put a chrystler 8.25 from a cherokee in the rear, because its already soa, and its a little stronger than the D35 thats in there. I am going to measure the spring pertches to make sure they are the same width, but if someone can confirm it for me, if they already know, then that would be great.
