There's a DOT code on every tire produced that tells one what year and week of that year the tire was made. If a tire dealer installs 12 year old tires, that's on them, not the manufacturer. Personally, I prefer matching date codes. You can get a better balance, usually.

Yes, its on the tire dealer for installing 12 year old tires on your wife's car. BUT does it really matter in the end, you cant replace people with compensation......the information here is much too valuable TO EVERYONE.


As for it being all over the internet, of course it is, people are chopping it, changing it, and putting up in their other forums, they can do what they please.

BIG FOOT found dead is all over the internet, don't hear any complaints about big foot being all over the internet.
