Getting the Wheeling Fever

hey, I just put a timing chain in my truck... and after i put it all togethor, I realized that the timing chain was quite loose... will this tighten up once I start / run the truck?? the motor is a 22re fuel injected 4cylinder toyota pickup

tensioner .. when oil pressure applied .. is there to do the job . provided , you have a good tensioner ?

ok, thank u verry much... yes, the tensioner is good.. haven't started the truck yet.. put the motor almost all the way togethor, and noticed it. thank u verry much.

also make sure .. the top bolt on the oil pump , Is the correct bolt .. VERY IMPORTANT
If not correct , it could contact the tensioner , and impeed it's performance

short is good ..
specs eluvate me at the moment !!
long will contact the tensioner . impeeding it's performance .
