The first 1 1/2" is easy. Go to a 4x4 store ask for longer shackles for a Trooper. If the salesman's eyes glaze over and he looks very lost and confused . Tell him it is the same as a Toyota pickup .... that is what happened to me .

Take the shackles home and install, this gets about 1 1/2" lift. Now go to the front, find the torsion bar > follow it back to a bracket > and a big bolt 27mm or 1 1/8" (I think). Squirt some PB Blaster on the bolt, soak it good. Use a jack to take the load off the front suspension. Crank the bolt about 4 turns clockwise. Lower the jack, drive forward and back to settle the suspension. See how level the Trooper sits, Repeat process if more lift is needed. Lift is about 1" for every 4 turns of the torsion bar bolt.

I am assuming that you are talking about the '92 Rodeo in your signature - in that case, yes, the suspension for all intents and purposes is the same. If you are talking about a later (don't quote me, but I think '98+), then it has a coil suspension in the rear and thus no shackles.
