Need a Spot
Failed inspection for "no reverse lamps". Anyone know what could be going on? I have a 93 jeep grand cherokee with the 4.0 L and a automatic trans. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Doug

Mine's a manual trans, and I don't know if they have any relation to each other at all w/regard to the reverse light switch, but mine has failed several times. On the manaul it's mounted on the outside of the tranny sort of up on drivers side IIRC and is pretty easy to get to and replace. If it functions the same way on the auto you should be able to plug a tester into it to check. OF course the auto is prolly some internal gizmo... Good luck.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
I'm having the same problem, except when I take the switch out and press the button, the lights work just fine. Anyone ever have an SR-4 break internally so that it doesn't contact the switch?
