Getting the Wheeling Fever
I just finished putting my 3 in suspension lift from independent4x on my 1990 isuzu trooper. I have also got an alignment. but right when i start out from like a stop sign my transmission and transfer case start shaking. I dont know what is causing it to shake, but I think it has something to do with the drive shaft. If anyone has a clue or has had this same problem please comment back
thanks kyle

Does it shake before you start to move (as you engage the clutch) or after?

If you have a 2 piece drive shaft, more than likely, that is the problem.... you've changed the angle of it with the suspension lift which causes the vibration on take off.

I've learned to live with it for time being.... a lot of people go to a one piece drive shaft.... IIRC, your carrier bearing will wear out faster also.

If you have a 2 piece drive shaft, you MIGHT be able to do as what is describe in paragraph 3 of this article.....

If its already a single drive shaft it could be U-joints. As Van said you changed the angle so if you dont have a carrier bearing it could be bad u-joints being more obvious with the new angle.
