Body Damage is Cool
Anybody seen one of these first hand?

softtopper.com . It's not on their website yet, but they are selling it on eBay It folds back and stows like a jeep top. It's about half the price of of a Can-Back and seems to be made of top grade material. I like the rack mounting feature of the Can-Back, but maybe the ability to fold the top down, convertible style, is a good trade-off. They make tops for the latest pickups as well and they have a video on their website of a top going onto a Tundra here. I don't have any financial connection to softtopper or stand to benefit in any way. -- Matt

No personal experience w/ them yet, but been keepin ga close eye.
When they made the first run, tehre was an announcement on one of teh boards about it, tehy were selling them cheaper to get interest going.
IMO, it's a good design - kind of a mix between the old Kayline/STC style and the SunTop (?) models that pop up every now and again. Personally I like the fold-down-convertible-style feature myself. Company has a decent rep for quality too. I've been waiting for a lump of cash to spend (yeah, right!) and will probably get one.
There's one model out there that lwts you optionally use the rear glass window, maybe thsi was it? in the eBay pics they don't show that, but it looks liek it'd fit... personally I'd rather have rear glass...

I have one on the way, I will let you know in a couple of weeks.
Maybe I can be convinced to do a quick write up on the install and overall impressions.....

I remember the one that used the rear glass and I believe it had a true bikini top option.. I saw it for about $900. It was like three tops in one.....
