That's pretty interesting KP. Yankin' that stuff apart doesn't always appeal to me, esp know with being older and still no garage. I just round that junk up to save myself a 40 mile RT hitchhike to NAPA if I need something while I'm in there.

Ok, thanks for all the tips but after taking it to the garage and listening and tinkering we still can't figure it out. If I stand at the front of the truck and rev the engine it seems to be coming off the front left corner by the alternator. When the mechanic listened to it with his scope he said the only bolt he got any feedback from is the timing chain cover but he said that was really only a guess. I don't know if this will help someone or not. The biggest clue I can give everyone is the fact that if you are going down the road and it starts chirping it will cease as soon as you start pushing the clutch in but when it does it idling it will not stop no matter how hard you push the clutch in.
