See, and the valve covers.... they look like they were replacements but looking at what was and was not serviced on this thing, why do valves and/or top end...or head gasket for that matter when so many little things were not done. There are new hoses that do not match (different suppliers, different ages) if it was taken to a nickel-dime mechanic, they would have gone for easy stuff like shocks. The lifters were so sticky when I got this thing, you would have thought it was a diesel. I tried to e-mail the original owner, but no response, that was a few months ago. I don't think the owner of this was military, because she was allegedly the mother in law (only drove it to the grocery store on sunny days ect ect) of the guy selling it, but it was QUITE obvious there was a kid driving it. Well, guess I'll dig out my Wiggy and try that. The exhaust seems OK when it starts and warms up, but I messed with a few screws and knobs since... I was considering taking the cat out and driving it for a day without.
