I think your friend got lucky. 3" is generally about the limit for a Cherokee and some have had issues with that w/out additional work. From what I've researched on the Cherokee (GF has one; I haven't done the lift yet, but been looking into it), if you're going to go with that much lift you will need CV shaft, SYE, change R&P, etc. Get ready to spend $$$. Also check to see what rear axle you've got - it could be the d35 or Chrysler 8.25. If it's the Chrysler it'll hold up okay, if it's the d35 don't bother spending for gear change or a locker, it'd be a waste of money. A 2" and some good 31" MT's will get you a long way...Far enough that a winch would be your next best investment. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
