I've decided to go with a 261c cam and engine kit for my 22r. My question is this: Are there any special tricks or tolerances to be followed when adjusting the valves on this cam or do I just follow my repair manual instructions?
If a man throws a wrench and no one is there to see it; does it still count as pitching a fit?

Thank you for that Kewlynx. That was good information and a really simple cut and dried explanation. Now, all that being said; will the cam and timing set that comes with my kit be fully adjustable? I'm used to a chevy, which have all the adjustment on the crank gear, line up the dots and away you go (barring any serious material removal from the deck or head.) If it isn't fully adjustable; then how likely am I to have to adjust the cam one full tooth one way or the other? Or am I just not getting it?

>>>*One full tooth would be a LONG ways! That isn't likely to ever be required.
On a few engines that have had a lot of head/block material removed we find a degree or two can make quite a difference.
On most of the 22R/RE engines it is bolt it up and go....*EB
