The problem could be that the pressure in the fuel rail is bleading off overnight.That would cause hard starts in the morning.If you are loosing pressure the reason(most likely) is that the check valve in your fuel pump is not holding overnight.If you jump the pump and your truck starts right up there is a good chance that you need to replace the pump.Leaky injectors will show problems on hot restarts as well as cold starts.You can also crack the fuel line fitting at the coldstart injector and check for residual pressure after sitting overnight.If the system is holding pressure there will be a fine spray out of that fitting.If fuel drips out then you don't have enough pressure.
