Actually that was kewlynx line about the stock parts, but when I removed my MSD & stock parts I kept everything wired together and boxed it up "just in case". Overall, I like the simplicity of the setup. The DUI has a more agressive advance curve and I believe it will shine when I rebuild/upgrade my longblock. The one flaw was the fact that the DUI has a long shaft to clear the power steering and the shaft is two pieced. I experienced some oil seeping out where the shaft pieces meet, which I solved with JB weld. I could have returned it and the customer service at DUI was great, but it was too much hassle to remove it, since the 4Runner is my DD. Considering the cost is less than the replacing the stock components with new, I would do it again. My mileage is up to 18 for the summer.
