I have a 89' Dodge Raider V6 3.0 that i tore up the top end on. I am thinking that i just want to change motors on it because it has 175000 miles and doesn't really have the power that i want. Rebuilding will cost $900 - $1200 from all that i have seen. i found a 6G72 DOHC V6 3.0L Mitsubishi 3000GT 90-92 for $800 has about 45,000 miles, and it is turn Key everything is included. Was just wondering if the motor will fit without much modifications or not. Sorry if i sound like i dont know but i dont know. i bought this raider without knowing very much about it. From what i have heard the DOHC motors do not have the low end power that i need for off road applications, is that true and if it is could i modify the motor to fix it? my wife and i want to use the Raider for Mission work in the philippines and we will need to take it in some off road possibly some snorkeling. If anyone has any suggestions as to what engine and transmission combination would work best for me. (mind you i really dont want to do to much in modification to get it all in there). Thank you very much
