Hi all!

I have a small issue.... I need to get the ox from cartoon city (close to Reno) to either sacramento or preferably to long beach. It's time to get things moving... we have one superferry working and another on the way, I'm ready for it in Hawaii.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Peter

Is it drivable? Do you know someone that could drive it to Sacramento or Long Beach... if not, (which I presume since you're asking the ?), would you trust any of the board members to drive it?

Do you have AAA... depending on what type of membership you have, free towing up to 200 miles (get it to Sacramento).

There might be a train transport between Sacramento and Long Beach.... or the only other way would be truck transport.

OR..... PM me for an "alternate" means. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" />

AAA is a pretty good idea! I have it, just not renewed, but that's not a major issue. but ya, it's driveable....

Roll Me Over
Randii and I had a discussion about your situation yesterday. We agreed that you are going to want to go over I-80 and then south rather that taking 395 south. That should keep you within the 100 AAA Gold range.

Also, how long has it been since the Amigo was driven seriously?

seriously driven, donno, but, I assume that Michael drove around a little maybe... I am just tired of being without my little beast, plans to wheel the rubicon just seem more and more impossible lately and there is some descent wheelin out here but with the superferry, I can hit some of the other islands fairly easily.

How far is it from cartoon city to sacramento? Also, I don't even know how to make the transfer with AAA on the tow.

Body Damage is Cool
I need to be in Sac in March. I could take an extra day, head to Carson City, pick it up, drive to Sac, then head South Saturday night or Sunday. Long Beach would be no problem.

I've got all my ducks in a row, I'm giving up on the rubicon and I'm ready to ship my truck over!! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

I miss it and need it to breath some sweet salty air! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />
