Looks like I'll be bringing Peter's Amigo from Carson City down to my place this coming weekend (April 24-26). It looks like the Rubicon Trail is between where I pick the truck up and Sacramento; Hmmmmmm. Probably not a good idea <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> I'll pick the truck up Fri night the 24th, stay with friends in Minden, do a little maintenance on the truck Saturday morning, then drive in to Sacramento on Saturday, then home Sunday night.

Okay, I just dropped off Peter's Amigo at the shipper's yard. If you've ever rented a car, you know how they walk around and mark all of the dents and scratches on a little diagram of the car? Well this was part of the process for the inspection. Now think about how many of our 4 wheelers look after being "used" for many years. We pick up a "few" dents and scratches. Well Peter's truck is no different, maybe even a little on the "over used" side of things. The girls was running out of room for writing all of the items down on the sheet. I kept pointing out stuff that she was missing too.
"Did you get the missing corner piece on the bumper?" "Did you see the dents behind the rock bars?" "Did you see the 3 chips with cracks in the windshield?" "How about the missing back window?"
Next step they will load on a car hauler and take it down to the ship yard.
