That's strange. I highly doubt she just arbritarily said it was their fault without higher ups telling her too.

My guess is she is the scapegoat. But she also made a few other comments along the way, off the cuff, that weren't really appropriate so it might be that.

Metrolink is owned by France, so some uppidy up in frogland probably had a cow when they heard that their subsidiary said it was their fault.
