hey paul, thanks for the reply.
the neg. lead goes from the battery, to the battery tray, and then two spots on the motor. i just went out and put a cable from the neg. terminal to various parts of the body,and then from the engine to various parts of the body with no success in making those lights go off.
did you follow the thing about the alternater, regulator pack?? you seem to know a fair amount about motors?
