Getting the Wheeling Fever
Ok...i've got the 3.0 out and the 3.4 ready to go in. My question is:

The engine mounting brackets???? use the 3.0 on the 3.4L?

Just eyeballing them...they dont even come close to matching up.

The 3.O bolts to the block at 3 points and the 3.4L has 4.

The 3.0 is "flat" against the block, the 3.4L is "offset".

For reference: 1988 4Runner w/ original 3.0
Donor engine: 1997 3.4L
Both 5 spd.

Thanks all.....I don't post much thanks to the search...but I'm at a loss this time.
