your half right. it sat on and off for months at a time. i kept throwing parts at it left and right or tear it all apart just to put it back together and it would run normal briefly and then right back to same old crap. it was is vicious cycle and if it wasnt for the war department god only knows how much money and time i would have thrown at it. there for awhile, i didnt have any choice but to get used to its issues and drive it until i bought a daily driver. anywho, back on point. fuel pressure regulator? vaccuum leak? i know that little ball bearing valve-a-mathing on the break booster effected my idle when it was worn. so many things come to mind.
btw, as for this crap getting popular... mabey contagous is more appropriate.
