I have got a cj5 with a lockright in the front, and the only time it disengages (while in 4wd in the tranfer, and the hubs locked) is when coasting. That is when I get the clicking sound. I have a detroit in the rear, and it does the same thing. When going around a corner coasting it just clicks, while accelerating around a corner the tires squeal like crazy. My lockers only lock up when there is power going to that differential. I am guessing that is the way they are supposed to be. (unless they are selectable of course)
