The other day I had my left rear axle out so i could take it to a machine shop and have a new bearing pressed in. While I had it out I shot some extra gear oil in the end of the axle tube. I have not driven or moved my Raider since. Now I notice that gear oil is on the ground and it looks like it is leaking from the center of the axle. I have not climbed under to see where but I think it is from the pinion seal.
My question is can the axle gear oil leak out just simply from being over filled? I really doubt it can I am just hoping because I do not want to put in a new seal. If I do need a new seal is there a way to change it without having to change the crush washer and pull the pinion out?
