First off I did not say anything about the end of the world, or doomsday. Please re-read the title of this thread.

You are correct that time will tell, but as I said before... It can't hurt to prepare.


The last "real" Great Depression started in 1929 and the U.S. did not fully recover until the WWII war machine was in full swing. That's 14+ years.

Better hurry up and start canning.
