I am working on the 4.22 now. These gears were new, but were run with improper set up. I am not real concerned as the wear is not where the pattern will hopefully be when set up right.

I am concerned about a slip fit on the small pinion bearing, it slides on and of by hand. The pinion was apparently sanded down and mics about .0005 smaller than it should be. Are you guys confident that locktight will keep it from spinning on the pinion?

This rear is for a friend who likely will sell them after he tries them. Hes always buying and selling stuff. I may try and sell some of these geared starion rears and i don't want my name to be mud if it comes apart on the next owner.

Can i trust the lock tight or should use a used ring and pinion and keep the suspect "new set" for my own use?

My speedo gear is 23 tooth. It looks like my options are 24 or 26 tooth. What model, engine and rear combo would i find the 24 and 26 tooth drives in?

Thanks guys.
