The railroads are also hiring. Maybe lower wages to start, but they train and are unionized, if that's you thing.

When you get up, your Mitsu modification history will have to continue in Canada.

most definately, all the custom fab work is on hold due to our
bad economy and nobody want's to buy anything. Hopefully i will get the ball rolling on this and be able to make some mods for Canadian trucks. I'll be bringing this little mod with me

Very nice! We could use someone up here who doesn't care about the rarity of these rigs in Canada and is willing to make the first cut.

That sucks man, hope you get a new job soon. Layoffs are spreading like wildfire over here too due to an economic cricis, if I get the boot I'm going full on convincing the better half on moving to Canada. It just must happen because someone has to jack up PHIL's new limo and fit something bigger than 33's.

Toasty,

Alberta revolves around the oil and gas market. Are you a B pressure welder? There's always work assembling vessels and metering skids, and they're welders that are ticketed make $40+.

If you could handle a work-in live-out camp environment, you could make well over $70 an hour with a 6 day on, 3 day off type schedule.

I've been in and around the oil and gas industry in sales for about the past 3 years now and i have lots of contacts at fabrication shops. I am rarely on the wire but you can feel free to shoot me an email at epanasuik@wescorpenergy.com and i'd be happy to help you in your search.
