Good luck man! I got laid off last month from what I understood to be a long-term position, and now I'm about to start my training for Group 4 Securicor (Armored car guards). Not what I would have chosen for myself, but a buddy got me an "in" so at least I'll be able to pay the bills for now. Hopefully I'll be able to get into Canadian Border Services Agency (Customs) in the long term.

I am now officially a Pajero owner. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />.

Will Canada let me bring my '99 Montero into the country?

Not a problem. Check here for vehicle import regs and procedures:

http://www.riv.ca/english/html/how_to_import.html

Looks like any and all Mitsus are allowed:

http://www.tc.gc.ca/roadsafety/SafeVehicles/Importation/Usa/VAFUS/list/MITSUBISHI.htm

(Only goes back to 1994 because of the 15 year rule. Older than 15 years and anything goes.)
