I got laid off last month from what I understood to be a long-term position, and now I'm about to start my training for Group 4 Securicor (Armored car guards). Not what I would have chosen for myself, but a buddy got me an "in" so at least I'll be able to pay the bills for now. Hopefully I'll be able to get into Canadian Border Services Agency (Customs) in the long term.
