Just a subnote, the majority of fabrication happens in Calgary, Edmonton, and Red Deer. The back and forth i reffered to would be ft. st. john, grande prairie, or fort macmurray.

come pick up the sliders and buy a bumper from me, but you should pack up the kids and missus and go north. It can't be that cold.
on the subject of cold, where is Canada's most tropical city?

That would be us here in Vancouver, although we're breaking records for lows right now in the -10?C range. It's usually a couple degrees above freezing all winter, and then in the summer we have high 20s(?C) temperatures. That's 80s and 90s for your fahrenheit types. Plus, in the spring you can ski and golf on the same day.

At the moment, its damn cold. But we (and most of the rest of the country) are experiencing lower than avg values, and more than avg snowfalls. I'm hoping to get a chinook for Christmas. It doesn't even need to be wrapped...

Hey Toasty, whatever you do don't move to Ontario. Our economy is pretty much screwed right now. Out west is the place to be.

Vancouver sounds nice! do trucks rust like crazy there? No, they hold up pretty well. Most of the winter it's raining and cold but not icy, so the roads are rarely salted. There is a little rust from all that rain and frequently parking a wet vehicle (except summer), but nothing like you see in the colder cities with all the road salt. Think Seattle , we have very similar weather.

Well I applied for another job, this time in Fort McMurray Alberta. It's in the Finning undercarrage shop so i'll just cross my fingers. Will Canada let me bring my '99 Montero into the country?
