Update: I replaced my worn out backup light switch yesterday $42 Toyota part with AAA discount...now I have backup lights again <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Blinking Cruise Control light problem has stopped blinking, yesterday it worked fine. Brake fluid level looks fine too, so I will investigate again when the blinking symptom returns.
