Alright, I have been trying to plan a Frazier Park/Gorman run for years and this is it. I know it's last minute, but anyone interested is welcome. We'll be arriving Friday night and anyone who would like can camp out with us or join us on Saturday morning. The run is... When: Saturday, October 11th, 8:00 am Where: Miiler Jeep Trail, We are meeting at the Flying J Truck Stop, right off the Frazier Park exit on the 5 Frwy. 8:00 am Here's the Plan. Some of us are arriving on Friday Night and camping on my property about 1/2 mile from the trailhead. I have plenty of space for camping. We will hit the trail Saturday morning and will be making a day of it. Anyone who is interested is encouraged to camp with us on Friday night and definitely on Saturday night(Party). Miller Jeep trail is a fairly easy run that can be completed with most vehicles -- we'll help you through even if your vehicle is stock. If you'll be there please post so I know who to expect. If you would like to camp on Friday night please contact me either by email or preferably cell. (see contact info below) Gilbert Escamilla trooperdude@earthlink.netCell: 562.217.2527

I will be there, so will Dallas. We are planning on leaving San Diego around 2:00 Friday afternoon, meeting Gilbert somewhere along I-5. If anyone wants to caravan, let us know.
Kammy will meet us up there Friday night.

Expect temps in the low 40s or high 30s for Saturday night. I think the camp you are talking about is at a bit of elevation.

Steve,
We were actually planning on heading back to my property on Sat. night and camping there. Temps there should be comfortable.

The weather was cool (20 degrees at 7am on Sunday!) but clear and virtually no wind. The trail was dusty. Nothing extreme but it was a good day wheeling!! A few pics: Lockwood/Miller Jeep Trails

Looks like you guys had a good (although cold) time out there. Good to see the stinkbug back out on the trail and looking more like the Amogo it was! Thanks for the pics. I will be out on the trail and camping in a few weeks here in Az.
