Does anyone know who's bumper this belongs to or who makes it? I downloaded the pic last year and searched again for the post but can't find it.

Would this be a strong enough bumper (welded to the frame) to use for a receiver mounted winch (9500#)?

Doesn't really look like it to me... but your comments are welcome.

The bumper may me commercial, however, it resembles thousands of others fabricated by individuals and variously sized welding and fabrication shops. Basically, it's a simple tube bumper. Properly constructed, perhaps gusseted, etc, and properly attached to the chassis, the bumper should easily handle that capacity. If you don't have the skills, resources, etc to build a similar design, take a pic of this bumper to a few shops in your area and get their opinion. Along with the pic, provide them with brand of winch, winch and winch accessories dimensions, weight, capacity, etc. There's probably only a few of that winch design (receiver hitch mount) so pulling the data up for the winch should take minimal effort. If your going the receiver winch route, I would give thought to the hitch being separate from the bumper / grill guard. Just make sure the receiver is long enough or, 2 telescoping sections, to clear the bumper and any other concerns you may have.

Glad you found it. Depending on your market area, that price is excellent for what it's intended for. Recognized brand name with a good reputation. Have a shop fab a receiver hitch underneath and with a long enough extension, you'll have your winch clearing the guard then you're off and running.
