88 parts manual shows only one type on both sides, MD021211. However, I don't see any wave washers that also go on the shaft which would take up some slack. May have also used a spring that had been severely overheated and lost tension. May also have a cam with non-flat lobes, making the rocker walk sideways. Looks like a crap rebuild. Rocker slipper may also be worn on one side, for same side-walk. Good points.... Also a cam with a taper ground into the face will do the same thing. Kevin C
