The KYB's are valved for the montero (Come OEM when new) . They are the most inexpensive shocks of monotube design that you'll find. I tried Monroe on my old SR..what a joke those were...Johns 90 Has Pro comps and they are like mush as well. So yea, KYB Gas-a-just are the most bang for your buck that you'll find in mu opinion. Bilsteins are good as well as the KYB Monomax. Stick with a Monotube high pressure shock unless you enjoy excessive body lean.

I still havent tested my gen II coils under high articulation so I cant say if they'll fall out or not..If so I'll go to LWB gen I coils or the SWB coils with a 2"spacer.
