These price drops couldnt have come at a better time...soon as I get my V8 swap done! Couldnt be freakin' happier right now! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> Yeah, but I have a feeling that they're going to go right back up. Maybe not right away, but within two to three years I have a sneaking suspicion we're going to be seeing $5-a-gallon gas. I think so too.
I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

In a way I hope so. The global economy is going to have to significantly turn around before we will see $5.00 gas.

Well, you know the saying Adam, "If it's too good to be true, it probably isn't."

$1.79 last night. I agree that this is unlikely to be long term. I did hear on the world service last night that the oil price drop will not stop the development alternative fuel sources cars. I find that hard to believe. With the car industry on its knees I doubt they will be doing much R&D right now.
