It would look a lot better if you took off the rollbar pads and painted the rollbar green too.

Now Im stuck again, and haven't finished getting all of the paint off of the top. My DA sander exploded the wheel off, and any other power sander, or grinder it too powerful, and cuts into the fiberglass. Any ideas?

I was thinking more the Defender type with the white roof and green body. Can't do the small windows up top but the I kind of like the white on dark green.

Here's mine now with a crack in the top. I need to fix it anyway so it's black or white.

Sorry if images don't show up. Something is screwy with imageshack, they're not showing in the preview.

seems like a cool idea. the only thing i see wrong would be that if you did the top portion on the jeep white, there is no real like seperating the 2 colors. The white part on the defender is like a seperate panel. You get what im saying?
or are you talking about making your entire hard top white?

I was thinking of painting just above the raingutters in backand the entire panels in the front. The Freedom top is 3 seperate pieces and the undersides are all white.

Funny how ironic life is sometimes though.
Looks like I won't have to paint the JK to look like a Land Rover after all.

not to threadjack but I bought a 1964 Series IIA short wheelbase Land Rover with a buddy yesterday.
Picking it up after work today.

New 4 cyl motor, Dana 60 axles, dual transfer case and straight all aluminum body with a rust free frame.
Never had a Rover so this is all new to me.
