The truck runs rich as $&*@ and now the battery is dead after driving it home from work.

Why is(was) your battery dead? I read in another one of your posts that your lights were dimming while you were driving...is a different problem (charging/low voltage) being masked by the symptoms you've got?

Replaced the alternator and made a huge ground strap and that problem went away.

Zuk,

I called the shop to get the numbers back to me tonight. Again, the ecu looks clean but its the only other thing I think it could be. It was intermittant and then progressively got worse which sounds like what people were having with ecu issues but I didnt discover any leaky caps. I'm used to looking at the when I had my GVR-4. I think maybe the injector driver is failing in the ecu.
