Well Duuudes... The old guy got the Rubi springs, shocks and links installed today...bout wore me plum out! The Rubi stuff had 50 miles on it, so the lil lady now feels like new.
I put some 2X2X2 metal blocks under the front seats.. I like it a bunch better. Almost like sitting in a chair and gives me some comfortable leg room.
I have had second thoughts about taller tires... For the time being I'm keeping the 30X9.5's.
Tomorrow morning she goes to Ozona Texas to visit some canyons. I think I will go with her.

Make sure you take some pics BJ.

Are you just waiting to see how it does with the 30's? Or are you set on not going with bigger tires period for now?

It drives so nice with the 30's I just have to put her in the canyons to see if I actually NEED another 1/2" axle rise. That 1/2" ain't much for $900. or so bucks, and will cause some drivaability due to the extended circumference. Those 3:07 gears ain't going to go much taller if any..

Ps...I'm outta here till late Sunday or Monday..

Glad you went with the spring kit, you will be happier. I had my doubts that you could find hockey pucks in Central Tejas. Like LA, I am sure they are pretty rare. I figure if you were gonna order hockey pucks, ya might as well get the spacers that were designed for your vehicle. We as Jeepers are inclined to install all sorts of things not usually found on Jeeps but if you have an option that is designed for your ride, I would stick with it. If it fails, at least you have someone to sue, LOL. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />
