The guys stopping folks for illegal lights are either:

A) Part of the traffic unit, IE assigned to bother people for illegal *****.

B) On a task force for street racing and nailing anything with obvious "modz".

C) Looking for PC to stop you cause your a dirtbag.

After reading what you say, I just lost that much more respect for the Law Enforcement System (assuming you guys are just doing your jobs)

But FWIW, (AFTHGAF) Who makes the determination that you're a dirtbag? You're saying police are assigned to look for reasons to pull people over? (well I guess I already knew that) FTL!!!

Well they do if you look suspicious. That's just common sense if you ask me. Maybe not right in some views but I can still appreciate them doing it.

Also, WTH does AFTHGAF mean? Sorry no time to look it up on UrbanDictionary.com

Back on topic, I'd like to see the longevity of those components too.. it seems like a good cheap mod for the money, Kudos for that.

Very true. I would mod mine if they are.

Don't headlights have to be DOT approved in order to use them for onroad use?

Good question and I'm unclear of this for CA myself.
