Figured this would be a good idea and may even make sticky status one day.

Let's see if we can get and maybe keep an accurate representation of the going rate for certain high volume parts.

I understand it can vary by area and a persons desire for a certain item, but just a general feel for pricing would be nice.

Folks can ask for a going rate or post a going rate. The goal isn't to turn this into a forsale subforum, so no for sale posts.

I'll start!

What is the going rate for bouncy seat frames if one can find them? I just located two. One guy wants $70 shipped and the other $125!

Way to much, I got one for $20 out of a junk yard.

I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

You can buy them all day long for $11, and some change, at the pick and pulls around here. That is if there a Monty/Raider in the yard with one.
I even traded two for a lunch. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

i never needed to get one as mine came stock with both driver and passenger bouncies, but have gotten a few for other people (cant remember who, but i remember i traded one for genII springs) but i only paid what sparkem did. some yards will try to stick it to you, and ive noticed they seem to be the ones that have their inventorys linked to other yards... the best deals are in the mom and pop yards that dont know what they had. about a month ago, i got a alternator, iac, tps and a dizzy for $20.

Damn. I was way off.

I guess I'll skip the two on eBay and wait for someone here to have one. I've been hitting the local yards with no luck.

I got both of my bouncy seats for $20. One of them I got a few years ago from that yard on Radcliffe, just off of Santa Fe, a little ways south of Hampden.

True This! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

San Jose J-Yards do not realize the value of these seats.
I have Dual Bouncy Seats in My Craptank and a couple extra Seat Shocks on the parts shelf that i liberated from the yards. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" />
I see those seats all the time but now that someone needs one: i probably will not see any at all!? Screw you murphy's law!

I put the value of one of these at $25 to $40 max if not rusted at bolt holes. This is frame only with no seat in good working condition.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!
