Thanks to all for your responces ...I did find out something ,some of you may not know . In New York State as well as some others it is illegal for a salvage yard to sell certin parts , Brake lines is one of them ...as well as calipers ,and slave cylinders . It seems there can be failures and deaths due to these used parts and some other states forbid the sale of these items also . I did find a garage with a machine shop service and they do custon work as well ie (building hot rods and restoration work . So i am having both sides of the brake lines replaced for $150.00 ...$75 each side .when i saw the cars and the work they do i was impressed ...thanks to all . <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" />
